Open No Wire Connect in Safari or Chrome and click Create a bridge. A QR code and a 6-character code appear.
Scan it with your Android phone
Point the camera at the QR code — most camera apps (or Google Lens) recognise QR codes — tap the link that appears. Or open No Wire Connect on the phone, tap Join a bridge and type the code.
Drop videos in, download on the other side

Step-by-step: videos from Android phone to Mac
Open No Wire Connect on your Mac
Go to No Wire Connect in Safari or Chrome on your Mac. Pick a session length (15 minutes to 4 hours) and click Create a bridge. A QR code and a 6-character code appear on screen.
Scan the QR code with your Android phone
Open your camera app (or Google Lens) and point it at the QR code on your Mac screen, then tap the link to open the bridge in Chrome. If your camera doesn't pick up QR codes, open No Wire Connect in Chrome, tap Join a bridge and either scan from there or type the 6-character code.
Your devices are connected
As soon as the phone joins, the bridge shows as active on both screens. There's no pairing step and no driver, and the two devices don't need to share a Wi-Fi network — your Android phone can be on mobile data.
Choose the videos on your Android phone
Tap the upload area and choose videos from Gallery or Files. Each one can be up to 5 GB, so full-length 4K recordings are fine. Keep Chrome in the foreground until the upload finishes.
Download the videos on your Mac
Each video appears on the Mac screen the moment it finishes uploading. Click it to download, or use Select to grab a whole batch at once. Videos save to your Downloads folder (or the Downloads stack in the Dock). The bridge works in both directions, so you can send videos back to your Android phone the same way.

Other ways to transfer videos from Android to Mac
USB cable and Android File Transfer
macOS can't browse an Android phone by itself; Google's Android File Transfer app used to fill the gap but is no longer maintained and often fails to detect devices. Third-party MTP tools exist, but they add another install.
Google Drive or Google Photos

Any cloud drive can shuttle videos between devices, at the cost of uploading everything to a third-party server first and needing enough free space in your plan.
Bluetooth
Both Windows and macOS can receive files from an Android phone over Bluetooth, but transfers run at a few megabytes per second at best. Fine for one small video; impractical for a batch of videos.
